Organic Church = The Grace Cafe
“God’s way and law of fullness is that of organic life. In the Divine order, life produces its own organism, whether it be a vegetable, animal, human or spiritual. This means that everything comes from the inside. Function, order and fruit issue from this law of life within. It was solely on this principle that what we have in the New Testament came into being. Organized Christianity has entirely reversed this order.”
T. Austin-Sparks is the man who deserves credit for this term.

The Grace Café is an interactive, multimedia supported, organic conversation about God’s grace being active in our everyday lives. The journey to be a follower of Jesus Christ begins with asking the question, “When and where do I meet Jesus? What miraculous changes should take place in my life and how long will it take?”
We would like to invite you to join us as we take the journey together.

Hey brother,
The google book archive shows the phrase “organic church” to have been in use prior to T Austin Sparks. It appears in this book, for instance: Organic Christianity: Or, The Church of God with Its Officers and Government … by Leicester Ambrose Sawyer, 1854 – on Page 403. Just a very minor detail…
Organic means “living” of course. Could the true church be anything but living?
TAS is to be praised in that he did not copyright his books.
Godspeed.
